Lily Flame: one of my favorite (British!) scented candle brands

I’ve really been into candles lately; it’s super cozy & makes me want to stay in, sip some tea and enjoy my home. A cute brand I’ve learned about thanks to my friend Hanne is Lily Flame: a UK brand of candles, hand made in the Somerset country side. The tins are really pretty & girly, and I like the four colored pieces of wax that are carefully tucked into the candle base. The tins are quite modern and perhaps not to everyone’s liking, but I place them along my Yankee Candles and other classic candles and I quite like the combination of the different designs. Scented candles make my house a cozy home!

The candles should be burned around 3 hours at a time to ensure they burn and reduce evenly; and have a total burning time of 30-35 hours. The scent is quite strong, but not overpowering. It’s perfect to fill the room with a nice & cozy scent! They have so many different kinds.. It’s really hard to choose. Dolly Rocker is my very favorite one of these three: it’s very feminine and funky, it’s a scent that fills up the room in no time and calls for a hot chocolate. Other scents on my wishlist are: Blush, Fairy Dust, Honeysuckle Glow, All Is Well (even if it were just for the name!) and Winter Chorus.

In Belgium, you can find the Lily Flame candles at BeautyQueen in Gent, a lovely beauty salon/shop with great brands. I bought mine there, and she should have the Christmas candles in stock soon! If you’re not close to Gent, you can always buy the candles at the Dutch webshop Bacio Di Fiori, or you can find some good competitive prices on eBay.
