My newest obsession: hair fragrance
Thursday, November 28, 2013
So here’s the thing: I try to prepare a fresh dinner every evening & when I do.. My hair smells exactly like what I made. Slight exaggeration perhaps, but I’m sure you know what I’m talking about. This is especially the case when baking steaks or burgers (I try to limit my meat intake, but I just can’t resist those..), and so far I’ve only found one solution: washing my hair. Luckily smoking in bars & clubs has been prohibited in Belgium since a year or two, because before I couldn’t go out without ending up with a miserable bunch of hair smelling like a dirty ashtray the day after. Nothing worse than that! Instant shower urges. But fear no more.. I recently got my very first hair perfume and I’ve been.. SMITTEN!
This one here is L’Oréal Professionnel’s Mythic Oil Le Parfum. A hair fragrance, although you can also use it on your body. The scent has much more body than the original Mythic Oil products but stays in the same fragrance family with a deliciously warm vanilla & musk scent. It’s also said to have some nourishing properties, but I honestly wouldn’t count on it for that.. I’ve got my regular well-loved bottle of Mythic Oil to pamper my locks. The scent is not too overwhelming (not headache inducing either, worth noting!), so it won’t mess up the perfume you’re wearing on your skin. I’ve been using it daily since I found it in the mail and ta-dah, my hair has been shiny and smells amazing. Even when I made burgers for dinner the evening before.
L’Oréal Professionnel Mythic Oil Le Parfum is available now and costs €34 for 75ml.
