't Is the season. The hunt for the perfect spring mani is on! And Chanel has immediately worked its way to the top of the list with a new formula and a bunch of limited edition spring proof shades. We need to be honest here: Chanel has always had the prettiest nail polish colours, but the longevity wasn't always up to par. A thing which now is however, ladies & gentlemen, a thing of the past. The new Le Vernis Longwear Nail Colour keeps its promise in its name. And I have the prettiest colour of all 15 new shades on my nails!
We need to talk about how pretty '504 Organdi' is. It looks ballerina pink in the bottle, but turns a very on trend dusty nude pink on the nails. I added a black little dot on my nails as this is what Pinterest has been making me love lately, but it obviously looks very pretty on its own as well. It needs two coats to look its best.
The formula has been tweaked to last longer & it definitely lives up to its promises. I have difficult nails to I usually don't like to comment on longevity, but I do notice a big improvement versus the old Chanel vernis formula. This formula easily holds up two days longer. And not only the formula has changed: the packaging has too. A little. You now won't find the polish name on the front of the bottle anymore - you'll find it on the back, along with all other info. The brush is a lot fuller and wider now, a huge difference to the old skinny brush! I'm a wide brush convert as it's just so easy.. It's honestly a very well executed update. Nice going, Chanel!
Other shades on the shopping list? Particulière, Monochrome, Mythique & Garçonne. And don't forget to get a new bottle of Rouge Noir! As well as the new gel top coat, as apparently it's really good..
