Fendi His & Hers

Some say it’s too much, but I’m all for it: his & hers in the bathroom cabinet. These two gorgeous Fendi perfumes are the perfect fit; you’re destined to spark when wearing these! Fan di Fendi was released in 2010 & now carries a first masculine perfume in the line: Fan di Fendi Pour Homme. And after the Fan di Fendi Eau de toilette which was introduced in Summer last year, there’s is now a heavier version of the perfume called Fan di Fendi Extreme. Quite a broad line of fragrance already, indeed. Did you know - by the way - that Karl Lagerfeld is the creative director of Fendi? I’m not trying to come across as a fashion geek, but I wouldn’t have guessed..

His & hers, a perfect match! Left: Fan di Fendi Extreme & Right: Fan di Fendi Pour Homme.

Let’s kick off with Fan di Fendi Extreme, a very sensual and more intense version of the original perfume. This one is an oriental, flowery scent with hints of leather which will absolutely make you feel desirable. It’s a very grown up & feminine scent. I think I’ll be reaching for this one for fancy nights out as it’s the perfect fit! Top notes are tangerine & bergamot from Calabria and incense from Somalia; heart notes are tuberose absolute from India & sambac jasmine; base notes are patchouli from Indonesia, a soft leather accord & vanilla absolute from Madagascar. Available in three sizes: 30ml for €58.10, 50ml for €85.48 and 75ml for €103.21.

Fan di Fendi Pour Homme is the male accomplice of the perfumes. The bottle is clearly more robust and masculine as the female version & the perfume is darker in shade. Already at the launch event, when I smelled this great scent just once, I knew that this was going to be one of my favorite male scents I discovered to date. Top notes are citrus & pink pepper; heart notes are cardemom, geranium & cedar; base notes pair a leather accord with tonka bean & pachouli. Mark Ronson is the face of this campaign & does it perfectly. He’s so rock & roll and just breathes this kind of edgy but still refined masculinity full of charisma. Check out the campaign image here. A 50ml bottle goes for €57.29 & a 100ml is €78.72.

And there’s also some Holiday candy, of course! There are two limited edition packages available of the Fan di Fendi Eau de Parfum & Fan di Fendi Pour Homme. Silvia Fendi designed two leather cases for the perfumes, so you can place your bottle in the case but you can just as well change it around whenever you wish. Available to order at Planet Parfum in Belgium (check some local websites/blogs for your own region, sorry!) since two days and priced at €239,50 for the Fan di Fendi EDP 50ml & €229,50 for the Fan di Fendi Homme EDT 100ml.
