I hope your Sunday was great! I am a little late with this Sunday Favourites post as the weather here has become absolutely beautiful and I've been enjoying some much anticipated fresh air (the first since Wednesday evening as I had a pretty bad cold and stayed inside under a blanket for three days..) at the beach. Spring is really kicking in and I couldn't be more happy about it! I went to the flower market this morning and saw so many pretty Spring flowers - I should really purchase more daffodils to decorate the house as they make me smile. Some non-flower items also made me smile this week, such as the best green tea I've ever had and some new little friends I brought home with me from Disneyland..
#1.. Tsum Tum! I bought three new Tsum Tsum at Disneyland Paris last weekend - I got Bullseye, Hamm & Alien. I now have nine of these, and while I don't necessarily want to collect every single existing Tsum Tsum I do still have quite some other ones on my wishlist. A few only available in Japan, so I better start planning a new trip there soon.. Any excuse will do!
#2.. I have been building my eye looks around the new Burberry Wet & Dry Silk Eye Colour in Tea Rose and I'm absolutely in love with the look! This is an antique pink shade that goes perfectly with mauve colours like for example the shades in the Chanel Quadrille palette that released as a part of last year's Spring collection. I was at an event this week and got two compliments on my eye look of the evening - all thanks to these colours. They make my green eyes stand out like nothing else can!
#3.. Colour me addicted.. I can't stop wearing Aerin's Gardenia Rattan eau de parfum. It's a beautiful white flower fragrance with notes of Wet Marine, Gardenia, Tuberose, Tahitian Tiare & Amber. And can we talk about how beautiful this bottle is? Find a full article on this fragrance here.
#4.. Teapigs Mao Feng Green Tea is the best green tea I've ever tasted. It's so.. YUM! I'm normally more of a infusions type of person, but this has got me pretty hooked. Tastes like "fresh summer air, peaches & apricots" according to Teapigs, and I kinda agree. It's delicious like that & is reputed to be great for your skin and health. What more could you desire from a cup of tea?
#5.. This one is actually a combination of two foundations that has been working wonders on my skin the past few weeks. I have been battling a pretty bad breakout on my chin and lower jaw line, and this combination gives me pretty full coverage while still looking semi-dewy and healthy - I haven't been into the super matte look lately. I combine one half of Bourjois Healthy Mix on my hand with one half of MAC Cosmetics Studio Fix Fluid and apply it with my Zoeva buffing brush, a flat kabuki brush that quickly works in foundation.
#6.. The weather and the light! I am so happy that days are finally growing longer and the light is getting brighter. This isn't only better for my mood, but it also allows me much more time and possibilities for taking pictures for the blog. Yay!
