I was surprised but then immediately super stoked to learn that there was going to be a second instalment to the collaboration between Urban Decay and Gwen Stefani. There was a little sneak peek preview of the lip products included with last collection's eyeshadow palette (see the review of that one here) and I was rather pleasantly surprised when I saw campaign pictures of a full on blush/bronzer/highlight palette. And more importantly: a cheek palette of which I'll actually be able to use all the shades! Gwen is a fellow pale girl and knows what's up. Also included in the new collection is a variety of lipsticks with matching lip liners & a cute brow kit. And they all come in super pretty gold/black/white packaging.. It's Pinterest perfect. Check it out!

"Easy" is definitely not a sheer blush though - it's one of those powders in which you need to dip your brush very lightly and then still need to tap off the excess. You might look a little crazy if you go straight in, you've been warned! The bronzer "Lo-Fi" is quite light and warm and works beautifully on my neutral skin tone. "Angel" is a gorgeous light champagne blush that works magic combined with "Easy".
I haven't worn the other shades out yet, but it looks like "Hush" will work well as a highlighting blush for very fair skin tones or as a blush topper on peachy blushes for some added glow. On darker skin tones I bet this one would work beautifully as a highlighter. "OC" is perhaps the weirdest one out of the bunch: this one will definitely depend in use based on your skin tone and undertone as it's so particular in colour. I bet it could also work well to highlight around the eye area. "Cherry" is for those days when you're not wearing a lot of makeup and are looking for a healthy flush. I love to use these types of light cool pink shades in spring.

In Belgium we are getting six Lipsticks (Ex-Girlfriend, Firebird, 714, Rock Steady, Spiderweb & Wonderland) and five 24/7 Glide On Lip Pencils (Ex-Girlfriend, Firebird, 714, Rock Steady & Wonderland). I noticed that there are two more shades available in certain countries (like the US), so the lineup will probably vary from country to country. "Gwen knows how to rock a bold lip" it says in the press release, but she definitely also knows how to rock the perfect nude lip duo. "Ex-Girlfriend" is the nude brown/pink combo you've been looking for ever since Kylie started that nude-ish lip trend. The lip pencil has a very pleasant formula that doesn't dry out my lips and works perfectly as a primer for the very glossy lipstick. The combination of both wore well on me for hours in a row - it even pretty much survived a lunch.

Gwen also added a cute little Brow Box to her collection - it contains two powders, a wax, two brushes, two mirrors (of which one is magnifying) and the cutest tweezers you'll have ever seen. It only exists in "Bathwater Blonde", with two shades targeted to light and dark blonde girls. If these are your shades, it's definitely a little must-have! For those of you with darker eyebrows (like myself), you can get these little kits in the regular Urban Decay packaging too. Granted though, the packaging sadly isn't as pretty as this black & gold one..
