“Poison Girl Eau de Toilette makes the most of its effects. It's a suggestive composition that retains its tender charm but also throws out cutting remarks. It blows hot and cold.” - François Demachy
Poison Girl Eau De Toilette is made up of three acts. The first: "The Big Chill", featuring Sicilian Sweet Orange blend with Calabrian Bitter Orange. The second: "Smouldering Flowers", with young Neroli and Grasse Rose-Damascena Rose. The third: "A Sensual Appeal", in which Vanilla caress blends with the soft attractive notes of Tonka Bean. The duality that François Demachy talks about can be found in the contradiction between the fresh citrus notes that pop when you first apply, followed by the warm and sensual floral vanilla-y heart.
This fragrance is also very long-wearing, I still smell the sensual scent on my wrists after a long day at work. If you're not generally into heavier scents, this one is an alternative to look out for when fragrance-shopping. The zesty opening and sultry, but still soft and sweet dry down are unique in my fragrance cabinet. I've been wearing it very often since getting it and have received a few compliments on it too, which is always a good sign!
The scent: refreshing, sensual and unique to my collection 😍🌹
The longevity: stays on all day 💪
The price: a designer price, but moderate for Dior 💰
